The two additional sounds (bridge/neck) and (bridge, middle and neck) complete a sound configuration worth exploring because of their tonal nuances. It requires firmness which can be acquired with practice. To raise tone 2 in order to obtain the two additional sounds, the thumb, index and middle finger must be held firmly.
It can be said that the sound quality improves noticeably. Bass, treble and midrange are better appreciated and differentiated. The sound becomes more defined and punchy. The jack also improves on the standard in terms of smoothness when inserting and removing the plug, as well as in the construction and quality of the materials. The pickup selector is of great quality and stability, it doesn't have that small gap between changes that the standard one has, which is appreciated. Tone 2 is a little less soft than tone 1, which allows you to accurately calibrate the sound of the bridge pickup. The tone 1 is also very soft, a little less than the volume control, but it is appreciated. Once installed, a very smooth and light volume control, very suitable to make the 'violin sound'. If they are made of cotton, as in my case, it is a bit more laborious. Installation is easier if the pickup wires are made of plastic. The presentation and the construction are exquisite and robust.
